Bell Let’s Talk

I’ve said it before.

I believe that we grow up in a world that disconnects us from our true selves.

I believe that that, alongside trauma is the cause of mental health in our society. I’m sure there are instances with the way our brains are wired (medical shit aint my thing) but truly, the good majority is from our misunderstandings of self and the trauma we have experienced as an individual and as a collective.

In addition, we are holding in generations of that// not just our own experiences.

Some thoughts on how we work through it 👉🏻 Work on self. Learn who you are; what makes you tick and what gets you off (in all ways 😉).

👉🏻 Start looking at yourself through different realms [emotionally, financially, and physically (to name a few] and exploring and applying where you feel called. Implementing this, has a trickle effect to your whole being.

Mental Health included.

👉🏻 Medication is sometimes needed, but shouldn’t be seen as a solution.

Rather a tool.

Maybe I’ll share thoughts on big Pharma another day 🤪

👉🏻 Be outside. Take vitamin d in the winter because our bodies need it (if you’re from where I am from).

👉🏻 Nourish yourself, in all the ways.

👉🏻 Give yourself grace when you fuck it up, because you will.

👉🏻 Speak kindly to yourself every single day

👉🏻 Surround yourself with those that inspire you and talk about the things that matter, rather than the surface level shit that I am so exhausted by.

👉🏻 Cleanse your environment (of toxins, of people, of clutter)

(ill add more as I think of them).

side note: I hate days for recognition, it’s the only time too many people talk about serious shit like this.

Also, you do realize that you can donate directly, right? While yeah, it helps. It’s also a tax right off that you could be claiming💁‍♀️
