Taurus Full Moon
As an earth element, Taurus reminds us to stay rooted.
Rooted in who we are, reminding us to trust that we have the answers within and the version we thought we had to be or that society ingrained in us is not real.
Only what you know and who you are.
The Full Moon, externally reminding us to let go while internally, maybe bringing up feelings of being un-supported, unseen, disassociated, or in fear.
Often, when we choose to maybe go against the grain; no longer identifing as the good little girl, or people pleaser that so many count on, we have people (the ones who are “supposed” to be there) start questioning your every move. Getting angry at this new version of you who is putting themselves first, and while it is heartbreaking, trust that this is their own wounds and that if you seek it… you can find community who will take you, just as you are.
Community where you can be seen and will be supported.
Dissociation; when we are there, but not really there. Maybe caught up in the to do lists, self-doubt, what others may perceive … not at all present in your current moment. Allowing time to pass you by in a blink and not remembering, well, much of anything when other bring up the memories.
Doing life, but not really being in it.
Fear, living life in the what-if’s. What might happen or what others may say when you choose a road different than what you had originally thought.
Even a road of simply liking yourself, different because “if you like yourself too much, your cocky” - society.
Your Breath, shaking up the emotional energies that lie stagnant in your body, keeping you in a place of selfjudgement, fear, disconnected or unclear.
Making space for all that you already are, before society told you otherwise … a state of being over doing, supported, nurtured, in harmony and in solitude.
Through our Breathwork Practice, it’ll be important for you to
Move
Focusing on the lower half of your body, maybe choosing to sway your hips in a figure-8 or gently back and forth. Maybe you need to slightly move your legs, lightly stomping them on the ground, feeling your feet deeply on the surface below you.
Breathe
Deeper than you think you can with long extended inhales, and long extended exhales. Allowing yourself to sink deeper, with each breath into who you are.
Practice
A practice completely free to you, in gratutude for reading and being here… in whichever way you are capable 🔽
Please note: Breathwork is not recommended for those with respiratory struggles, vertigo or a history of fainting - trusting in what YOUR individual body is capable of.
You may experience big emotions and feelings arise, thoughts, your body speaking to you in ways of tingly sensations, numbness, hot/ cold.
