Social Workers Supported
For the ones in the Front Lines of a field that tells you to “leave it at the door” or praises you for being able to disconnect from the atrocities that can be very common in our line of work.
A field that either glamourizes the burn out or tells you to take care of yourself but no actual tools or education on how to accomplish this.
Allow me to support you in this.
Join community and be the force for change within your system ⚡️
Spending 15 years in frontline work (group care) where I acted as a mother, confidant, nurse, therapist and beyond to youth who started life a lot less than fair, I learned to meet people where they were at. Experiencing chaos and turmoil as a result of capital T trauma and un-regulated nervous systems, I learned that they just needed somebody to be the calm within their chaos.
But before I ever knew there could be any different, I was a worker who although great at her job, was running herself ragged and had zero idea how to incorporate the deep self-care that my kids deserved. I wasn’t the model of change.
It is noted that when workers are taken care of and take initiative to care for themselves through healthier lifestyle and stress management techniques that our resiliency in the work we do is significantly improved.
The Check-In
Join me each month for a check-in—a supportive space to reflect on your experiences and share what’s on your heart.
Every session features a unique theme, along with practical tools to guide us through our journeys.
As a Social Worker and Flow Breathwork Facilitator, I bring a strengths-based approach that integrates mind-body connection and radical responsibility, leaving no room for a victim mindset. Together, we’ll focus on personal growth, embracing the only thing we can truly control: ourselves.
Let’s become the best versions of ourselves to better serve the populations we’re passionate about.
I believe
That it is us, as the workers of vulnerable populations who are responsible for modeling the change you want to see. We can’t force change to any system, only be it.
